We are looking for an MLOps researcher to join our team.

Location:
  • Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Toledo, Bilbao, Valencia, Coruña, Tenerife, Santander or Valladolid.
  • Hybrid Mode
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Spain

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the definition and implementation of data pipelines and MLOps workflows.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of an MLOps infrastructure framework and tools.
  • Research techniques to implement data versioning and model registry.
  • Model deployment, test automation, usually in the form of unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests.
  • Research about model monitoring, data drift detection, re-training implementation, model roll-back, etc.
  • Adopt the best MLOps standards to design and develop scalable end-to-end machine learning workflows.
  • Build processes supporting seamless MLOps (e.g., app monitoring, troubleshooting, life cycle management).
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML development, deploying models to production, and managing the lifecycle in a regulated environment.
  • Participation in European research projects, leading technical work packages focused on AI, ML and MLOps.

Education:
  • Requires a BS, Master, or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines.

Essential knowledge and professional experience:
  • 3+ years of experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, or Golang.
  • +3 years of experience in European research projects.
  • +3 years of experience in data science, statistics, software engineering and Machine Learning.
  • 3+ years of experience preparing software applications for their deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing REST APIs.
  • Knowledge about innovative MLOps tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLFlow) and ETL tools for data processing (e.g., Kafka, NiFi, Airflow, Luigi).
  • Software engineering experience, including architecture definition, infrastructure implementation, and creation of data flows.
  • Experience working following agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Good understanding of ML and AI concepts and hands-on experience in development, deployment and agile life cycle management of data science apps (MLOps).
  • MLOps experience in terms of model monitoring, data drift detection, re-training implementation, model roll-back, for machine learning solutions
  • Ability to work with software configuration management tools such as Git or GitLab.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment.
  • Advanced experience working with Linux.
  • English level B2

Additional knowledge:
  • Experience in cloud and high-performance computing environments.

  • Fluency in English.
  • Good writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong personal soft skills set communicative, enthusiastic, highly collaborative, proactive, and self-driven.
  • Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies quickly.
